Facebook Profile is used primarily for your family and friends- family photos, vacation photos. It's a way to maintain your relationships. The Facebook Page is for your business- to promote your product, service, business or brand.

The 10-Point Checklist For Your Facebook Page

1. Make sure you have a Facebook Page up and running.

2. Ask for the "LIKE." Some people need help- ask them to click on the "LIKE" button.

3. Make best use of the Announcement box on the left side of your Facebook page.

4. Customize your Facebook page using the static fbml.

5. Have a lead capture somewhere on your Facebook page. Ask your visitors for their name and email address.

6. Choose your custom tabs wisely- you only have so much room. What's your message?

7. Try new things. Experiment. You can always change things back to the way they were.

8. Make your website Facebook-ready. Integrate your website with your Facebook page.

9. Develop and establish a Facebook content plan. What are you going to say? How often?

10. Find or get a really good Admin- someone who truly loves to post on Facebook, someone who WANTS to share with Facebook visitors.
